I am in the market for a new turbo for my 7m but have no clue where to start. I would like to reach around the 350-400rwhp mark. What turbo would be best suited for this application? While keeping in mind that cheaper is better- as long as the quality is there. Sorry for the newbiness but i would greatly appreciate your help.

I'm running a Greddy TD06-20g. It should be good for around there. Mine has been upgraded to a Frankenstein 5, so its rated at about 600, but a regular 20g should do it.

57 or 60-1 trim will do you just fine as stated. if you have the money though id look into a bigger turbo/nicer set up so that you can make that kind of power on low boost, all depends when you want to spool as well. i have a 57 trim ct26 that put me at 371hp fairly easily, but im sure like me when you get to your goal youll still be aching for more. if he wanted to go bigger than an upgraded ct26, and not have rediculous lag, as well as utilize the stock exhaust manifold, what turbos would be ideal for that goal?

I noticed that C word in your first post...CHEAPER.

There aren't too many options for you with using the stock manifold, and an upgraded CT would do the job.

315rwhp/360rwtq at like 13psi untuned on stock fuel and a little boost leak here. I'm using a 60-1 CT clipped 10 degrees. You would be just fine with a .57 Trim...I had one on my car previously but just 4-5 months ago got the 60-1.

If you don't have the time to get on in that Group Buy, then contact jt (Jeff) or me, (Jeff :D), or MDCmotorsports (Jon) and we'll take care of you.

I think i have that in my highflowed CT-26, if you're after 350-400rwhp, why don't you just get your hands on two stock CT-26s... and do a twin turbo setup... it would seriously rip.. I've got a spare stock CT-26 lying around with my JDM engine swap when I had lost comp in 2 cylinders. My highflowed turbo stayed, and for another $200AUD i got all the turbo gear and the turbo, so that would probably be $150US? approx.. so two for 300.... i dno.. I just think it would be cool, If i was ever going to upgrade turbos on my 7M i'd actually highflow my stock CT-26 to the same trim as my current, and run a twin turbo setup splitting the 6 to blow 3 into each turbo. Would be sikk :).
