My buddy reminded me that some of the mk3 community prefers Supramania over suprforums, and they rarely check out the kills section over there so im reposting it here.
I had alot of fun Sat. night. my mods are basically just a 1j, 3" turbo back exhaust, ECU, bit more boost, and all on a stock clutch (which isnt my friend anymore)
Well i had my gf, and her friend in my car and we are diving out to the car meet. and a white SRT4 with carbon fiber hood and black rims pulls up along side. i found out that he is a stage 2, 3"dp, 3" mopar exhaust, and a boost contoroller pushing 20psi. well we downshift and i just let him take off. well from 70-125 i put 4-5 cars on him. we actually went up to damn near 145, but after ~130 my clutch makes my car a dog. it just falls on it face . it pulls good up to 4500 then power falls off and then ~7300rpm the clutch just lets go and the rpm's just shoot past 8K.
Then this guy in a Gold 4dr Alero wanted to race me. so i knew id eat him alive but hell a bunch of other ppl were going out so i just went out. he has forged internals, cam, and a 75 shot. ran a 13.6 @98. well he wanted to go from a 20 punch. so we get to the higway and hit off, i instantly pull 2-3 cars on him on the way to 120 when i had around 6-7 cars on him easy.
So we hit off again and a copper/orange srt4 pulls up along side of us. well i just tell him to go, well when the alero goes so did the srt4. i waited a second then hit it and my car just started to sputter, so i let off then got back into it and instantly pulled in front of that alero and started to catch up to the srt4, the srt4 had a good 1.5 car head start and by 110 i had pulled up to his front tire.
then we turn around and there is a black 6spd GTO, just basic bolt ons, Lid, wires, Headers, no cats, exhaust, and a chip. well him and that copper srt4 are lining up, and im behind them in the fast lane about a car behind. i hear them 3 honk from a 15-20roll and i tear off with them. well in first i pull up about to about 8-10ft behind them, and shift slowly into 2nd to open the gap a bit, well i started to pull up on them again and figure im going to have to let off, but i noticed that no one was in the slow lane, so i shifted to 3rd and pulled over to the slow lane and started to pull past them, well as soon as i get past the srt4 he lets out but the GTO stays in it. so me and him are dead even all the way up to 150-155. He didnt let off so i didnt.
It was great, when we got back to the lot the guy jumps out of the GTO, and says "Where the fuck did that supra come from !?!! then asks who was driving the supra and came over and gave me a handshake. It caught me off gaurd as im not used to compliments from a domestic owner.
Then a buddies straight downpipe black srt4 wanted to play, i told him id give him a bit of a head start. he hit off and i let him get ~2-3 cars ahead before i hit off. it took a bit longer than id have liked but by the time i was doing 110 i was sailing by him.
Then on the way back home i have my gf and her friend back in my car. and that same black modded GTO pulls up next to me, and i ask my gf and her friend if they want me to race. and they tell me to eat him up. so i downshift and three honk.
we hit off ~60mph, and i pull out a car by the time im at 90, then up to 135 i have a car and a half on him. and let out. well the girls are excstatic, and are yelling and jumping around, really its pretty funny to see. well he pulls up along side again and they tell me to kick his ass again. so i downshift and i wait for him to hit off. well he got a bit of a jump on me so he pulled up about 3/4 of a car. and by 140 i had inched back up and got just ahead of him.
Then a LS1 WS6 pulls along side at a light, sees my gf in the car and i guess decides to embarass me in front of her. so he revs and i just look at him, well we take off even and then halfway through 1st we both just hit off. i spin and he gets out about a car length, i shift to second, and pull up along side and then when i grabbed for 3rd im ahead of him about a car. he must have been close to stock cause a modde 6spd ls1 should put up much more of a fight. or he couldnt drive. either or.
Heres prolly why i got so many races. i have my stock rims on for the winter. would you picture this to be any kind of challenge?
