2JZGTE + W58 trans/clutch/flywheel clarifications

Hello,

I'm noob in Toyota engines and want some clarifications.

I have a W58 transmission off a 93 Supra non-turbo USDM, will it bolt-up direct on the 2JZGTTE non-VVTI 92-95 JDM? Or I need an IS300 bell housing?

The engine is automatic, so I need a flywheel and clutch kit.
Wich one I need, 92-95 2JZ clutch and flywheel? 2JZ 92-95 flywheel with 93 non-turbo clutch?

I believe the tranny will bolt up. Use the non-turbo clutch. I don't know if the flywheels are interchangeable.

it'll bolt up, as it already has a 2JZ bellhousing..

a w58 isn't the best choice however, I'm running a BPU 7MGTE on a w58 and I can tell it's not going to hold more HP if I decide to modify further..

X2, and you're correct, the flywheels are not interchangable.

I know the W58 isn't the best, but for the stock engine I think it's okay for the moment.

I already have the W58 supra clutch.. so I only need to find the flywheel/bolts and everything will bolt up!

The W58 is a hella lot stronger then most people think.... Its all in how you treat it and how you are with the clutch....

I personally have laid down 472 rwhp in a w58 in my supra. That trans has 300,000 miles on it and its now behind my V8

I also had a W58 in an 1st gen RX7 with a swapped 20b that laid down 552rwhp and it was in the car for 2.5 years like that before the car was totalled...

Yes, they are not going to hold up constant drag racing and high RPM clutch drops especially if you have good tires and traction, but hell for that matter, I have seen 100% stock MKIV's blow apart a V160 at the track and that was a stock engine and boost, but it is said that the V160 will hold tons of power.... Again, its all in how you treat it.
