My question is if the regular 2jz-gte head gasket work on a 2jz-gte vvti, and would the complete gasket kit for the gte work aswell.

Yes and no. The valve cover gaskets you can get from the VVTi 2jzge from an IS300 or GS300 everything else is the same. Could of called me to ask. LOL.
