2jzgte A/T ECU convert to five speed?

i tried looking this up but i couldn't really find anything.
so basically i would like to know if you can wire up a 2jz with an auto ECU to a r154 tranny with a JZ bell housing, and will it run right? or do i need a Manual ECU with a manual harness?
i know that you CAN do this with the toyota 20v 4age, so i'm curious if it works with this.
and all this would be going into a mkiii.

i believe its as simple as ground one wire off the harness the nuetral safety switch i have a auto 1j chaser ecu with a r154 it works just fine or you could run a push button start as an option untill you figure it out just wire in a relay to the signal on the starter

It works fine for running the engine. The only thing will be that (if using the Aristo auto harness & ECU) it can still start in gear. The neutral start switch at the pedal ins not effective (unless you deliberately wire in).

If you do decide to wire it in and enable the clutch pedal neutral start again, let me know. I'd like to wire mine in as well, so that I can use the remote start features of my after market alarm.
