2jzge na-t ignition problem or bad tune? Im stumped.

So I have this problem where the engine misfires around 3500rpm to 4500 under WOT and i have tried different ignitors,coils,plug wires,and even ran wires from dizzy to ecu just in case there picking up noise. im stumped here are 2 videos.

notice how the tach drops and there is an explosion in the exhaust like a misfire. It was like this at the dyno tuning session too. the tuner said its my ignition system. all that is left for me to change is the dizzy and the wires to ignitor from ecu. im thinking its the tune or knock sensors retarding timing and dumping fuel(just guessing from reading other threads) im going to try logging a run or 2 if i can figure out how to use the aemtuner.

figured out how to log but not sure how to get them on here. when i go to the uploader to find them there not there but when i got to aemlog there available.

noticed that the knock signal can reach 1.5volts this is when the car misfires and tach bounces.

1,5v is a powerful knock signal on a Wideband knock-sensor.
If it's a std resonant one, it's not so big (they can produce 10's of volts at a certain tuned frequency).

If you get a knock, its common to retard timing 5-10*.... this usually just results in loss of power. but if ignition is retared too mutch you will burn all your fuel in the exhaust (awful noise, sputtering, etc).
Study your datalog, and when you see a knock-signal, observe your ignition angle. It should move instantly towards 0 (BTDC) depending on the knock retard settings.

I guess you can free-rev the engine without issues? Tach issues like this are very often related to loss of sync with Cam and Crank-sensors, but they will be there no matter what load you have on the engine.

Not to mention that many AEM units fail... they are not the most reliable EMS-system out there.

i wish someone could show me how to use aem log. im just clicking stuff that looks like something i want to see but when i log it, its not there.yes i can free rev no problem. and its the factory toyota knock sensor. there using one knock sensor in the tune, the block has 2 though.

Turns out it was the dwell on the aem settings. Coil is over driven. Will need cop for more spark
