2JZ Wiring - Routing

Hello,
Can some of you guys/gals who have gone through a 2JZGTE Swap in ther MKIII's post pictures of your wiring harness routing please. I am using Aristo Harness.

I need to get some ideas on how to route mine for best looks and functionality. I have removed most of the hard plastic casings to make it a bit easier.

good luck i am doing the same thing, swapping an aristo 2j into my mk3, and I'm just now starting and now prepping the other car, piecing together other parts, and prepping the engine.

extend the harness about 18"

i did 2 1/2 feet and that was way too much.

Yeah all the extension is done. Iam more interested to see how all the engine bay wires were routed. I think I iwll separate some plugs and then route like stock wiring...

I took it apart and reorganized it and ran it all from underneath the intake mani to the firewall and throught the hole behind the ABS.

Alot of those wires were removed on mine.

behind the head and routed through the existing hole just like the 7M harness

your heater hoses are crazy... Just run it in reverse.. cleans it up a lot


heres how my 1j harness on my 2j is routed.. man is sooo much busier then yours.. haha

Sweet ! guys thanks. I think Crazysupra and I are both usig the same turbo setup. Mine is temporary until turbo blows then I will get something nicer.
I hope to keep the engine bay clean as well... lol

those who wired the aristo ecu up, did you have to run some wires to the mk3 fuse block.. I havn't looked over the aristo harness to much, but I didn't really see a fusebox plug, just the connector at the dash

Yes,
I have three wires going to the fuse box/first plug at the bottom of the fuse box from drivers side. Black/red, Black/orange , Black/yellow.
These are all power wires....I can check when i get home after work and post if you need.

suprastanger507mgte, did you get the Super T70 too? you'll be surprised at how well it performs. i keep hitting fuel cut but that will change today, my BCC comes today. then i'll go up to 20

tssimo, i'm tryin to think of the wiring but it hurts my head. there is a lead that goes to the fuse box in the engine. there are only a couple wires that you have to add and connect to wires in the engine bay. don't hack up your 7M harness right away, trace wires on it and that will help you out a little. you will need plugs from it.

Yeah..I have that same turbo. Looks pretty darn good to me. I am sure it will perform well for my needs.

lol.. i have 2 or 3 hacked up 7m harnesses.. using the colored wiring to match when extending Plus need to steal the tranny ABS wiring on the 7m harness and lay in the aristo harness for my car. so gotta hack it all up anyways, just wondering if I should pull the wiring out from ecu to fusebox and need to lay that in as well..

did you have to add them or you just modify what was there? I just dont remember a fuse box box plug on the aristo harness for some reason. The EFI wiring and alternator wiring is at the fusebox on hte supra, just wondering how its ran on the aristo.

On CL they say its a direct drop in for the 1st gen gs, so will be grabbing the GS electrical diagrams from my pops work (lexus dealer) when I start on the harness..
