Im doing that...
Just waiting for my 2jzte manifold to come in and I will adapt the lower runner to fit the 7m head.

You could use a FORD throttle body and adapt it to the manifold...

I will have to buy a intercooler that has the inlet and outlet on the opposite sites so i can run the pipes from the outlet straight to the throttle body. Just like the one shown below.

......or just get a front facing intake manifold which outflows the aftermarket 2j manis. Search for the Ron R. Custom intake manifold.

True...but you can get a 2j manifold for $200 shipped...
If you know a friend who could do the welding, then you good to go..except for the throttle body and cable relocation.
You could easily make a adaptor for your alternator.

And mkiv supras have put over 600 hp using the stock manifold.
So it is cheaper...

If you are a creative and innovative person , I am sure you could make what you need cheaper and save the money ofr other mods.

Roy

Depends on what you really want. I personally would put my money somewhere's else first if you are wanting to make decent power with the car as the intake manifold will be one of the last things you'll need to change. I'm going for 450-500 with mine and I'm keeping the stocker (it's 2000 degree chrome ceramic coated and ported to match the gaskets).
