2jz swap newbie questions

Ok so I've read through all the 2jz swap articles on this site, but I still have a few question.


Is there a difference in the ecu of a supra and a soarer? I don't want to go standalone right now.
Can I use an oil pan setup from an sc300 since it is a 2jzge?
Would electric fans cool better than a clutch fan setup?
Would the map-ecu or map-ecu2 be a good choice of piggyback if I'm using injectors bigger than 550cc or will my apexi afc neo be ok?

Yes there is a difference, the ECU connections are different.

Yes, SC300's are rear sump (as is a supra).

Would electric fans cool better than a clutch fan setup?

Electric fans have a few benefits, but better cooling is not one of them.
