I'm goin 2jz na-t soon and my goal is to get 550-650whp reliably so I'm looking for turbo setups and tuning setups I plan on either going map ecu2 or stinger ems so help me out and let me know what will help me meet my goals.

Thanks

How do yall think an mp t70 will perform for this kind of power.

The mpt70 should be able to hit your power goals. If you can do it go with the stand alone instead of the piggyback.

Go standalong (stinger) for sure over the stock ecu. I dunno how the T70 spools, but the a 67mm will make that power and come on pretty quick as well.

Yeah I was looking at driftmotions t67 but I haven't heard a lot about it and the only reason I question the stinger ems is because I'm going to be driving the car often and I want good reliability out of it

Stinger is great. My GE-t MP T-70 runs on stinger and it is very reliable. Plus there is a lot of support on the forum for it. If you have ?'s PM me and I can give you all the info you need to wire it up.

Just whatever you do, don't go overkill on your HG. I went with 3MM and it's toooooo thick. I'm going 1.8mm or maybe even 1.6MM.

I'd say, go AEM instead of either of them. Is there a tuner in your area that can tune the Stinger? I'm sure you'll get better results and be more satisfied with an AEM.

Like Poodles said, you'll definitely need to throw on a thicker gasket than the paper thin 2JZGE one.

One of our customers is going to run a 60-1 on his 2J N/A-T.

Just getting a stock GTE headgasket is fine, the stock GE is composite IIRC and seems to go on the NA-T's that I've seen.

Stinger is the way to go.

I had 677whp/580tq with the MPT70 .68 hotside @ 27psi / 615whp @ 21psi
that was with a 50/50 mix of 93/110 leaded

XS Power manifold
50mm wastegate
860cc injectors
Bosch 044 fuel pump
methanol kit (dual nozzle)
Stinger EMS
FFIM/q45 TB
Cowboy Bebop cams
1.6mm cometic / ARP headstuds

As far as the tuning, you'll need me. I'm close, and I have the experience.

Lots of good info posted, I'd definitely go standalone for that power level. Only way I'm able to get away with the 7M ECU and a $100 SAFC is because I'm running E85. Even then I had to put my base timing at 0 degrees and am probably on the ragged edge...

We'll see how well it works after a couple hours of road racing at TX2k10 :D

OK
my pt70 on my 1jz is pretty laggy... on a 2j it won't be as laggy but i would go with something else like a 66mm or 63mm, even a 61mm can make that kinda power also...
