I have been researching my ass off and I keep coming across new questions and spending another 3 hours trying to figure out an answer for myself. Hopefully one of you folks can put me out of my misery.
I am/was planning on going straight to single turbo on my 2j swap because it seems worthless to me to stay with the twins if I am spending 6 grand on a swap (especially since I don't want to modify the firewall... dont get me wrong though... I am on a tight budget). I am trying to figure out what size turbo I want to use with the setup and I honestly don't want to go with anything that crazy. I would be COMPLETELY happy with anything over 450 (such as 452hp for example- ha). I really just want to put the car together and enjoy it for a while.
Assuming I get an aristo motor I was planning on upgrading to the usdm 550cc injectors (getting them cleaned and flow tested before install) wired to the 7m resistor. Then I already have a walbro 255lph fuel pump installed in the car. I have a aeromotive afpr but I don't want to use it if I don't have to (trying to sell it).
With that in mind, what's the biggest turbo I can run without any further modification to the stock fuel system? From what I've seen on supraforums a few mk4 guys are running t60s without any modification... But in the same sense I don't want to follow their example if they're idiots and chance blowing the damn motor up. If i were going to do anything I'm thinking it would be a safc and a wideband. Give it to me straight fellas.
