2jz injectors for a 1j

can anybody confirm that the 2jz 550s injectors plug right into a 1jz or is there modifications needed? i no u need the 7m resistor because its low impedences any help is appreciated thanks.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. Quin is correct. They will work, but you do have to wire in a resistor pack. I'll see if I have the link handy..............lol

935 motorsports sells a kit with the resistor pack already wired in. Send him a pm.

so is there any other modifications needed besides a 7m resistor. So from the looks of it they should just drop rite into the 1j than right correct me if im wrong.

The clips don't exactly match up, you have to shave the injectors. However, if you buy the injector package from us, they will come pre-shaved and flow balanced (for an extra fee).

It wouldn't make sense to put in some old used injectors that were not flow balanced.

Our resistor kit is not bolt in though, it just includes the parts and the instructions. The wiring is still up to you.

yes i had to do that to a friends car with a friggin pocket knife for about 30 mins it sucked but works like a charm now!!!!
