:1zhelp:

I have already searched and asked some members in PM and tried their suggestions but no luck.. Time to ask the public.

Car - MKIII - 92
Engine - 2jzgte - ( Aristo motor)
Harness and ECU ( Aristo )

The Good :
-------------
Car starts up and runs normal. First try it starts up. Idles nice.

The Bad :
------------
When I give it some gas it revs a bit then stuttuers and feels like it wants to die.
I can press the pedal or move the linkage all the way and it will only rev a bit then nothing.

Did not touch the priginal TPS or throttle body.
Checked all sensors and ignitor and all that and they seem to be okay.
Getting 12 volts to the IDLE pin on the TPS from ECU.

What is not Hooked up yet :
------------------------------------
Check engine light
oil sensor,
H2O sensor
Tach signal to the gauge

Can anyone shed some light and see where I may have screwed up? Please?

Finish hooking up remaining wires and then also see if you can borrow/swap ECU. Kinda like some of the 1JZ woes, capacitors leaking etc.

Hope that's it and it's not the mystery ~2500 RPM limit deal we've gotten w/the 1Js.

Good luck!

is the TPS sensor within spec? Take an ohm meter to it. Map sensor hooked up and in check? Coilpacks fine? getting enough fuel? ECU fine, no cap is leaking? My guess would be to hook up the check engine light and pull codes.

How's the MAP sensor?

i'd make sure the vac line going to the sensor is in a good spot as well or at least has a good line going to it but id say this for any map sensor

So wired up the wires as follows:

Tach - To the ecu as well as the dash ( tacho)

But..........
My Tach moves a bit and stays hovering around the 2nd or 3rd mark from the bottom, so it s not working well. The signal I am using is coming straight from the ignitor ( Black / white stripes).

Wired up the speed sensor wire correctly.

Wired up the check engine light correctly as well.

But.....
The check engine light stays on ( no Blinks ) when I jump E1 and Te1 to get any codes. There is no light when the car is running without being jumped.

So , I have another ECU I will be testing out this weekend.

Map sensor is good. ( I tested two known good ones that worked on my 1jz) These are 2jz map sensors.

I know if the crank sensor or the cam sensors are bad, car will back fire or won't start. And neither is the case here.I have checked these as well.

Any other suggestions?
