ever since the first time i started this engine up it's been idleing high. which was fine until tonight. it was running perfect earlier, then i go to start it up and it's revving a little higher than usual. i notice the SAFC shows that the throttle is at 2.4% +-.5

i wasn't even touching the pedal, and now it's idleing up and down, from about 1000 to 2000 rpm's. and running pretty lean. 13-14 range. usually it idles around 11. when i press the pedal a little just to cruise everything is fine, A/F's are good and engine sounds great.

i pulled over to check the TPS. i pulled it out, looked at wiring, put it back in, start it up, now the SAFC reads 0% as it should, but the up and down revving at idle still exists. i'm getting good fuel pressure. im gonna check the spark plugs tomorrow, as well as the coils, and check intercooler piping, vacuum lines. anybody kno of anything else i should look at please tell me...:(

there is a screw that stops the throttle from being fully closed.. it might be adjusted wrong or installed backwards.

check the screw and make sure that it is letting the throttle get closed.

every screw that touched the throttle assembly, is screwed all the way out, the it won't close anymore than it is right now, i'll work on it tomorrow, and see if i can't get it fixed, thanks for the help guys

ok, so i take it back about idleing high since the beginning, it did idle at around 800 before, when all i had was an open downpipe.
