Need help guys...2jz on mk3 1990. :1zhelp:

I have bought a 2jzgte Aristo motor!
I knew that was from Aristo car and that has some
differences from a 2jzgte JZA80 supra !

Got the front sump oil pan (upper and lower pans) new from
Toyota,almost 500 euros.

Got the water pump complete from toyota for 140 euros.Aristo
2jz motors have alien-stupid hydro pumps with electric fans! :aigo:

Got the 1JZ bellhousing, new from toyota also for 450 euros.

I have used an ACT DISC-CLUTCH on my R154 trans with the 7M engine.
Can I use it on the 2jz swap, and with what flywheel?
The aristo 2jz motor was from an auto transmission...
They told me to use a 1jz flywheel...is that correct?
Why not a 2jz flywheel? :icon_surp

Last, can I use the pulley & coupling & fan from the 7M motor?

If there is anything else that I should take care or modify for the
2jz swap please make your point & tell me any tips!

Thanks for your help guys...

You bought a front sump? You need a mid/rear sump for the mkiii supra.

They told me to use a 1jz flywheel...is that correct?

That is correct. You can't use the 2jz because it won't fit in the housing.

Last, can I use the pulley & coupling & fan from the 7M motor?

You will have to get the 2jz water pump and fan.

Last but not least, SEARCH. It is your friend.

you will need a 1JZ flywheel to use with the 1J bellhousing and R154 and then you can use any 7MGTE Clutch kit

Take your Front Sump back and buy the Rear Sump. the aristo motor you bought already HAS a front sump on it.....

and the hydro fan probably wuould cool better than the mechanical.

as for the 7M pulley/coupling and fan. if you mean to bolt up to the 2JZ Water pump.......no. you will need a 2JZ fan clutch and fan blade.

Sorry guys...My Mistake!
Bought a REAR SUMP OIL PAN,cause the aristo has a front one....
I am anxious about this project, and I have spend a lot of money
as all we have...and mistakes happen!

I also think I need an oil strainer from a rear sump oil pan 2jzgte engine!

I am going to order from Toyota a fan and coupling.Has anyone used
the aristo hydrofan system on a supra? Is it so much better?

Thanks for the help,
Claou
