hey guys just wondering what kind of power you NA guys are getting? and whats the max power you can expect staying NA. and whats the cost and maybe a parts list. im just curios maybe ill stay NA if i can get 450 hp out of it. im just wondering because i havent seen that many NA builds, maybe its not even worth it to expect high power NA. thanks guys

It's super hard/expensive to break even maybe 300whp on a 2JZGE engine. The money spent to obtain a 300whp NA could be spent on a really nice GE-turbo setup and you would be easily over 400whp. I don't even know if you could spray a consistent 100 shot on GE for very long even if you wanted to go NOS.

There's a perfectly good reason you don't see many high power builds on an NA 2JZ.

2JZ's are relatively cheap to modify when you're turbo and can make loads of power with a small amount of cash compared to what it would take to get an NA 2JZ over 300 to the wheels...

From what I've seen over the years, there are two ways to get high power levels without boost. High revs, or big displacement. Ideally, you want both. Get a Chevy LS, and build it to withstand 8000rpm. Pretty sure you'd have to be inhuman not to enjoy that. :)

I'm buying a 2jzge for 500 with a trans, wiring harness, and ecu. I'm doing a complete turnover on this motor. Pistons, rods, MHG, valves, turbo, crank, FFIM, port and polish head, cams, r154, or t56, new harness, and turbo ecu. so pretty much a turbo without the squirters.
