In desperation to get my Supra opperational I ordered the fidanza flywheel for the 2JZ-GE In Hopes it would work. Soory , not in stock form. It has wrong bolt pattern if you use the 7M-GTE pressure plate, should work using the 7M-GE pressure plate, but that plate is not stout enough to handle turbo engine.

Undeterred I trashed warranty on $340 U.S. flywheel and had correct holes drilled and tapped at local machine shop for $50 U.S. Note red NA holes and green turbo holes.

If you were using 2JZGE+R154 I would have suggested a 1JZ flywheel. However, since those are hard to get, I see why you did what you did. Interesting information.

Did they give you some assurance that the holes are drilled/tapped evenly? It would suck to have the pressure plate lopsided.

The basic difference between the W58 and R154 is the pressure plate used. there may also be a slight variation in diameter of friction surface 3 - 4 mm one of the local parts stores computers listed a 240 and a 237 or something close. There may also be a difference in splines in the input shaft. The Machine shop did a good job as far as I can tell the engine and transmission have been installed. I have not test driven it yet. The anticipation is killing me. :burnout:
