2JZ engine to R154 tranny?

Does anyone know if there is such a contraption as a bell housing adaptor or something to use a R154 tranny with the 2JZ? I really want to go 2JZ and I can find a 2j substantially cheaper if it is without the tranny. Anyone who has done this or knows what to do, please post it is much appreciated.

Since you aren't likely to get any responses, I'll tell you why.... you did not search.


Use a 1JZ bellhousing (from a JZA70 Supra), available for about $350, from Jeff Watson at Champion Toyota (Supramania Vendor/Sponsor)... I'm sure he can give you more accurate quote , since it's been a couple of years since I bought one.

you'll also need a 1jz flywheel, which can also be bought from champion toyota or an aftermarket one from 935 motorsports.

iirc the mkiv na has a r154

I'm thinking that the N/A MKIV comes with a W58, but I could be wrong.

Also, the bellhousing is exactly $300.00 + shipping from Champion. I just got a qoute for one from them late last week. The part number is 31111-14111
