Well i just want a second opinion on what my japanese friend says. he told me that i can use the 2jz block and a 1jz head put together, i just have to drill a hole in the head for the oil. Using the 1jz twins, for the fuelcut i just need to remove a wire from the turbo and get a boost controller and set the boost to 2.0kg/cm.(but i thought the ceramic turbines would snap at this boost) to get higher power..is this possible?
You see the 2jz twin is exceptionally hard to find and expensive down here, but the n/a are there lots of and are cheap too. a sleeper like that would be awsome. thanx for your opinions..

2jz block with a 1jz head is called a 1.5jz. Im not sure about drilling a hole in the block though. Never worked on a 2jz or 1jz. Theres no way to overcome fuel cut without fuel mods.

I think I heard once that you can put 2JZ heads on a 7m block is this true?

ive heard nothing good about the ceramic turbos from any of my friends that have done a 1jz swap. i cant answer your question about drilling out the oil hole, but there are plenty of people on here that have more experience in that area than me.

The 1JZ, and 2JZ oil feeds for the head are slightly different. You can get away with it if you use a 1JZ head gasket. The oil feed won't be optimal, but it will work. There's a big discussion with lots of pictures regarding this over on toymods.

as for boost but, you will need a FCD. It's not as simple as taking off a wire.

I have a 1.5JZ if you're wondering.

ok how did you get that to work?? cuz thats one of my plans.
I just used a 1JZ headgasket. The 2JZ oil feed is a little offset from where the 1JZ one is, but the 1JZ head gasket has a large opening in it for the oil feed that sort of matches them up. It works fine, if I ever start shooting oil out the gasket, I'll tell you.

you'll also need a 2JZ water neck like was said. Both parts of the neck, the upper part, and the tube to connect it to to the water pump. A 2JZ serpentine belt tensioner is also recommended, but a 1JZ one will work.
