2jge swap with r154 trans

Im currently putting together a 2j swapped mk3 together.. i would like to have the R154 trans in as well depending what car i get the motor out of will the r154 trans bolt up?

i figured it might because 2j's come in supras and other misc cars but didnt know if it mattered what car i got the 2j from and mounted it up with the R154..

does anyone have some knowledge they can throw at me? im new to supra's coming from 240sx's and need some ideas.. anything helps thanks:icon_bigg

2JZ doesn't come mounted to any R154s but you can get the 1jz bell housing and flywheel and it should bolt right up from what I understand, also depending on if your car is pre89/post 89 you might need different engine mounts.

not to be a jerk but the whole 2jz to r154 mating has been discussed since day one... like the guy above said "search" even in google will get you somewhere.

-Use A 1JZ To W58 Bellhousing On A W58 (N/A Car)
-Uses A 7M W58 Clutch

thanks homie, that actually helps alot. After i posted this my friend did the 2j to his mx83.. he gave me alot of knowledge. I dont really know supra's all that well coming from 240's but pretty much same basic concept.. but thanks again
