I've got the 1jz flywheel that I'm about to mount up to the 2jz motor (which came to me as an automatic).

There are two big washers/plates that came off with the 2j flywheel (one in front and one behind... flat one in rear and cupped one in front). I pulled the flywheel off my old 7m and there was nothing like those washers (and i have no idea what the anatomy of a 1j motor is).

My assumption is that I re-install the rear one on the back of the new 1j flywheel (the one that sits against the motor) and leave the cupped one off (because it doesn't even really fit the flywheel right).

Is this correct?

I'll be waiting on you folks to go back outside and continue working.

Thanks,
Chris
