2J build questions......

I'm in the process of jumping to a 1.5j, so I want some insite of things that should be done during a rebuild.

For instance, are there any reasonable oil system mods that should be done? I'm going to rebuild the motor from top to bottom, so any advice would be great

a few of our local guys have had their oil pumps ported out when they built their 1.5's, supposed to help with relieving pressure on the FMS

but dont go through powerhouse, i know where they go to to get the pumps ported, its pretty cheap, let me know if your interested

If you can't find one elsewhere, I can get the machine shop that made mine to make another one Mark. I think they charged me fourty dollars last time, and I supplied the two parts.

its a local shop, 15 miles or so from me, Automotive Machine in Ft. Worth that does it

PHR charges $300+ for it, when you can get a new pump cheaper and they charge around $65 bucks for the work
