Looks like there is going to be an opening at Dunkin Donuts real soon........:biglaugh:

Good luck finding another job. It won't be that hard to find one if you're willing to go look and not expect one to come find you.

yeah a fuckin hangover from hell. I knew that New Year's Eve was gonna be rough when we started drinking at 2:00pm.......little did I know that New Year's day would be worse.

The other reason I knew that the Eve would be rough was when, shortly after we started drinking, we had the truck down in a clearing (we had a bonfire there that night) waiting on the guy that leased it from my buddy's family to show up. I had the passenger truck door open with my feet propped up on mirror and my hand up holding the door-sill. When the guy pulled up in the dumptruck, I used my feet to close the door, and closed the truck door square across my hand. I looked at my buddy in the driver's seat and said, "fuck, it's gonna be a long day. Haven't even finished my first beer and I closed the door on my fuckin' hand." He shook his head, and I opened the door to release my hand and we drove over to the dump truck.

*NOTE* We never drove on public roads once we started drinking. We stocked up then stayed on his family's land the rest of the day.

I damn near wrecked the Supra today leaving Portland on the freeway doing 40 MPH. Started hailing hard, I moved into the fast lane and almost instantly started to slide. Ended up facing the center median after swerving all over 2 lanes. The back half of my Supra was in the fast lane, the other was in the break down lane. I came within inches of slamming into the median. Luckily traffic slowed way down and the truck that was behind me immediately pulled into the break down lane behind me and stopped with his hazzard lights on to protect me. Nothing but pure ice. Not fun. I about had a heart attack from the incident. Amazingly my fiance who was next to me remained calmer than I did.

You guys just gotta keep the faith, keep hustlin, stay positive, and utilize EVERY resource around you.

I got layed off on July 16th and got the call the day before Christmas eve that I got hired for my current position. That was my Christmas miracle. Be thankful for what you have and do whatcha gotta do.

I did odd jobs and was a substitute teacher, in addition to doing about 3 interviews a week and being constantly told I was 'overqualified.' Anything is better than nothing, pride be damned. Good luck Supra friends!

I was in Portland from the 19th-29th...the weather there was really bad. I can't imagine having to drive a Supra in those conditions! It was a chore even in my Dad's lifted F350 4x4 with traction tires!

My step-dad damaged 2 rims and popped 3 tires due to the ice in 1 night. Not fun weather at all. Luckily I missed it all and only had to deal with slightly less harsh weather here in the Burlington area. Although leave it to Portland to give me a parting give of a near major wreck all of a sudden. Project Clean 87 almost became Project Replacement Supra.
