Hey all,

Just wondering if there was anyone out there running a 2 Step rev Limiter for Drag Purposes. Ive been looking for a while and Ive found a few but Im not 100% sure that they will work with the 7M. Most if not all of them will work with the 2J though. Basically this is a Substitution to having to run Standalone.

Ant Ideas or Products that will work on our cars.

Phillip Long
Rush Antilag
Bee R
Gizzmo

Thanks
Robert

Actually, I was looking at those today. Only reason that I was considering one is for the Drag Strip only. I want that boost off the like that all the Standalone guys are getting. Question is how much boost does the MSD 6AL give you and what else is needed to get it up and running correctly

2 step wont get you much, i think on my friends civic he got 2psi max something like antilag will give you some nice boost though

I talked to a guy from Rush Antilag and He said that he wasnt for sure that there Atnilag setups would work on our cars. Do you know of anyone running a Antilag setup and if so what brand he or she is using?

Isn't antilag, air forced through the manifold to turbo helped for spool, and a 2 step is a rev limiter used to create boost? If that is the case I doubt anyone is running antilag, and 2 step will make more than 2psi of boost.

All I want is about 10 PSI off the line give or take. Im running a GT66 (67mm) turbo on my 7M right now and Yes Im in the High 11s but I totally have the way I have to come off the line. Remember this is a 7MGTE in a MKII so there is the weight Difference than the MKIIIs. 60 foot time Sucks ass.

That is why Im so confused about what one does what. Some say both do the same thing, some say that they are totally Different. One builds 2 PSI and the other builds 15 psi.....

do a search the info is out there

Trust me. I have and Ive gotten alot of Different reviews. If a 2 Step doesnt or wont give me the Amount of boost that Im looking for then I dont want to waste my money. On that same note, It seems that most Antilag setups are only 1J/2J specific so I dont want to purchase something that isnt going to work on a 7M. Even though the Youtube files look great that has been posted, they arent 7M motors. If Im reading into it too much please let me know. Again, 10 PSI give or take is all I want off the line.
