I was running 15psi, for those wondering.


Had a TON of fun tonight, I was expecting to get killed by his car at 8psi, turns out he was running 16psi and I didn't do all that horrible. JZ FTW!

I have the safc reading for when I really need a tach, and haven't had a chance to get mine working. Not like I haven't tried... been through 3 tachs already, just haven't got the right combination working.

I'll have it up and working soon though, thanks for the compliments

yep sounds like my old 1j

you can really see when the 272 cammed car pulls back in top end .. the 61 car pulls away but the cams give back all the power topened stop the pull and start pulling on the car...

crazy glad them cams are working out

BTW... cars sound and look sweet guys....

hes taking it to 8K or a little above that, dont remember exactly

My max rpm during those runs was like 7480, so the extra 500 rpm's from his car is definitely noticeable.

I'd like to see you run with both of you doing 15psi. I know it's only one pound of difference, but I'd like to see how the 4088 is at the same boost level. His cams are definately giving him a more than slight edge on you though GT.

I have the crower cams also, but I only rev to about 7200 when racing. I wonder how the 2jz block revs in comparison to the 1j. I know the 1j rev's higher, so I'm guessing 7200 should be fine with my 1.5jz. It doesn't sound like it's in a strain at all at 7200rpm.

Great videos. I wish more supra owners did videos. I'm pretty sure I've seen every video on youtube and streetfire at least four or five times each.

hes running a straight 4" aluminum exhaust all the way back
