#2 condenser fan override switch in dash..?good/bad idea

I want to override the #2 condenser fans. I don't want to go to electric fans just cause I have better things to spend my money on, like a new intercooler setup...Do you think a switch on the dash to override those fans so I can run them when I want to. I think I would probably get a coolant temperature gauge down the road. What are your thoughts on this...

you can but why? clutch fan should cool the car fine

and the aux fans kick on when it gets too hot anyway...

make sure you have a good fan clutch and shroud and you'll be fine as long as the radiator isn't clogged or the t-stat is stuck (waterpumps are very durable usually)
