I just purchased a 1990 turbo. So far I am in LOVE with it. Only got to drive it during a test drive and then to drive it home 50 miles away and again to get it inspected and licensed. It has a small water leak coming from where a hose connects to the timing chain cover (small crack in plastic). We are in the process of fixing that now. But for the most part it is great. I posted pics in my album (or at least I believe I did).

Purchasing info:
159,000 original miles
Top end of motor rebuilt 6,000 miles ago.
New tires
Perfect Interior ( except for arm rest..it's tore up all to heck!)
Great body, few (3) small dents that can barely be seen but can feel them.
Passenger side spoiler wing has tip busted off of it (it is not on car currently, but have it).

I am looking forward to meeting new people and learning more about these cars. I am a HUGE Toyota fan!!!! Oh and yeah I live near Springfield MO

Thanks

damn! car looks clean :) .. dont see that pinstripe often. As far as the wing issue goes, my advise would be to shave the whole wing... that's just my opinion (i shaved the wing, wiper, and antenna) or you could find another right side somewhere i'm sure.. but a clean rear looks best imo..

welcome to supramania :D

Car is INCREDIBLY clean..I could not believe it when I saw it. The pinstripe is perfect on both sides...no chips or weathering. Thee interior looks like brand new with the exception of the arm rest...not sure how these people never got a stain or a wear mark on the drivers seat yet still were able to rip the crap out of the arm rest. Other than the "under the hood" issue I was having with it, the wing is MY project! I am working on constructing another wing from fiberglass myself. I am starting with just doing the tip of it to see if I can even reproduce it....so who knows!

00 eclipseI pretty much stole the car for what I paid for it. I was in a mental battle between it and a n 00 eclipse.......Metal beat Plastic!

You and Ian (IJ) even though I don't know about you guys personally, on the forum it seems like you both match. Fast cars and some DIY fabricating. just saying :D
