I was a sophomore in High school when I saw this 87 turbo auto with 117k miles on ksl autos, Utah. They wanted 1500 for it and wouldnt budge on the price. At this time I didnt really care what Supra I got as long as I had one. So I begged my dad to go check it out. The condition was pretty good, ran decent and was semi cheap so I had to have it. After purchasing we got on the freeway to take it to a friends house. Things were going great for about 15 minutes... then boom rod knock...the best day of my life turned to the worst real quick.
Anyway on to the pictures.

It ended up sitting at a family friends house for a year before anything happened. I eventually got the opportunity to work with my dads friend selling fireworks for the 4th of July in return he would pay for a rebuild on the 7m.

Specs

.20 over with JE pistons
Cometic HG, ARP studs 85 ftlbs
Greddy Type S bov

Went to pick n pull one day to find a Super clean 89 NA with mint blue interior. I had to have it so I picked it up and junked the nasty maroon and put on the 89+ lights and trim

Small update.
Sandblasted and painted the valve covers wrinkle black. Thinking about either making or buying a stencil and having the 2500 twin turbo in white.

Cleaned up and painted the intake manifold and turbo pipes. Still have to do the throttle body and fuel rail.

Slow, replace those oil cooler coolant lines. I went the extra route and had factory Toyota from a guy out of the states. You can use the aftermarket stufff and match something up but I like OEM stuff.

JZ motors are overrated.
