1JZGTE Engine Start Issue

Hi all, just recently had a swap done on my MK3, had a 1JZGTE installed stock twins only 25k miles on the motor with some extra goodies to match. Tried searching up the issue but really haven't found anything relating specifically to how mine sounds. That aside here's the issue;

On a cold start, I can turn my key once and boom it turns over. Idle will be a little rough because I was told the IAC Valve is out/going out and so idle is manually set. This could be an issue but either way I'm unsure because I'm not too tech savvy with the 1JZGTE or specific parts.

Anyways, after running for quite a bit, usually the time between my drives somewhere are around 15+ minutes no more than that. I get to where I'm going and leave the car for a bit, say I start it again another 15 minutes later, and I have to hold the key over for maybe about 5/6 turns (while pumping the gas pedal) till it finally turns over.

Battery is brand new, as far as electronics go I have a Kenwood 500w AMP in the rear, Pioneer double din head unit, GReddy Boost Controller and Turbo Timer, Python 990 Remote Start 2-Way alarm system, and I don't know what else at the moment.

As well an unrelated issue that has just been pestering me; sometimes when I drive my radio and boost controller go out (boost controller is wired through radio "ACCESSORY") but If I put pressure on the fuse box at the kick panel literally everything turns back on. Any idea what I'm dealing with there? Sorry for the 2 separate questions but I just remembered that.

Thanks in advance guys!

put the idle air control back to stock and re adjust the tps. if you messed with the idle screw your tps is probaly out of adjustment . after you do that other than the staring issue. how does the car drive and run motor wise?

and when you say the idle is rough do you mean it stumbles or runs at a low rpm? on a cold start with the iac working properly it should idle up and kick down as it warms up.

Drives great, motor itself sounds perfect no odd noises. And by rough I mean instead of doing usual warm up on cold start and revving high then going lower as it warms up, it'll start and be at about 650-700rpm while warming up, and once it's warm it goes to 800, and after driving it tends to stay at 900-1200 for some reason. I think the turbos may be on their way out though, when I drive I get blue smoke when coming to a stop especially after pulling a little bit. Or maybe it's the oil gaskets within the turbos? Let me know if you'd like any technical specs I don't know if that will help with anything.

Sounds like your iac is not working and or wired improperly. You can search the forum for tps adjustment. . Do you know anyone who has a iac you can try ?

Unfortunately no I do not. My supra has been sitting for about 3 years due to a screw up at the mechanics and finally they paid out and had all this work done. I was told by the shop(sideways performance) that the iac was out or on its way out, but we decided it would be something to take care of after the car got smogged. And since the cars been sitting for quite a bit I've also been out of the Supra community as well. So I kind of dont know where to turn
