Hey guys, I'm building up my friends 87 supra with a 1jz swap. I have taken a few pics of things I'm not sure where they go.

I know this is the MAP sensor but where does it bolt to and what Vac line goes to it?

p1642514_2.jpg

Is this for the MAP sensor?

This is the Accel cable. I've already upgraded to the 2JZ cable and it still seems short?

This wire is along the fire wall and I see no connector anywhere near it that would plug into it. There is one similar to is a few inches down the harness that went to the coolant valve but no idea where this one goes.

Last is this tube near the turbos.

Thanks!

Pic 1. Mount the map sensor on the firewall. The vacuum line originally came from the vacuum filter, in the upper center of your pic.

Pic 2. That was for the heater valve. The one that comes from under the DIAG block is the EVAP purge line.

Pic 3. Yep, they are kinda short. One option is to drill out the pulley closer to the throttle body. It just barely fits at the end of the adjustment. But still once mounted it seems painfully, almost to short.

Pic 4. Looks like alarm horn plug. It should be on the firewall, near the brake booster.

Pic 5. BOV signal. Did you cap off the pipe in this pic? Its missing the BOV.

Yeah the BOV is capped off when I got the engine. I need to know what the small metal tube is for not the large black one. Thanks for the help. You wouldn't happen to know why I cant get the trans mount to fit into the crossmember? I have the R154 trans with that mount and it wont fit into the 7M crossmember.

The small metal tube was the signal line to open the BOV. It comes from the vacuum line on the right in PIC 2.

I dont understand what your saying about the trans.

Where the trans mount bolts to the crossmember that part that holds the tail end of the trans up. I cant get either mount to fit into that crossmember. Do i need a different mount ?

Stock mounts using the drift motion engine mount brackets. The engine fit fine into the car I just cant get the trans bolted up to the crossmember. I'll try to get a pic

I thought the line he's pointing to in that pic goes to the rear turbo's wastegate?

Good call. Think I'm starting to figure out something about my own setup I hadn't thought about until now, as I've always had a Greddy or Blitz bov, can't remember which to be honest. Thanks for clearing that up.

Thanks that pic is very helpful. Any ideas on the trans issue? What is needed to bolt up the R154 trans to the mkIII chassis?

The R154 should bolt up with the cross-member from the chassis as long as it's an R154 cross-member. The W58 is similar and will bolt to the chassis, but not to the trans. I had that same issue with my N/A chassis to turbo engine swap. Have any pictures of the trans cross-member? The 'mount' should be bolted to the trans and then to the cross-member itself.

The holes on the top go to the trans, then once that's attached, you come from the bottom and hold up the cross-member while bolting it to the chassis and trans mount. The bottom "circular" piece sticking out should go through the center hole of the cross-member. Hope this helps

Just for note on the throttle cable. A V6 Camry or ES300 cable is longer and will do you good. The 4 cyl. Camry is waaaaaay too long thought. Make sure its a V6
