bigger turbos, injectors, cams, head flows better just a few

Besides those things cuz those are easily upgradable.

Head flows better? Is that due to a p&p and larger valves?

and that differeces is 2j 320hps and 1j is 280 only 40hps diff 1j is still fucken badass for being only 2.5 dis.

The 1Jz as well as the JDM 2Jz are only 280HP Due to the Gentleman's agreement between manufacturers in Japan.

I think everyone else has already gone over the differences.

I think the 1JZ Stock has a Higher Red Line / Rev Limit

I wonder why Toyota underrated the engine the way they did. Trying to slip under the Manufacturers agreement maybe :)

In Japan, it was never in writing. Just a gentlemen's agreement. I asked my wife about it and she explained it to me that way (she's 日本人 or in romanji nihonjin).

No way! lol Supras and Skylines whomped that agreement into the ground.

Van what was that first word? Romanji Nihonjin = English lettering system for Japanese characters and the Japanese word for Japanese person. So I'm kinda confused there
