Hi,

My 1st Supra was an 88T, pearl white with maroon interior and a targa top. That one spun into a rock mountain at about 50mph. My next supra is a black 86.5 NA with a rod knock, leather interior and no targa. I swapped in the drive train and interior from the 88T and drove that until the head cracked. I still have this one minus the engine. Next came a maroon 87NA that I fixed up to drive for $300 plus a clutch job for the sellers daily driver. The 87NA is sold now.

The black 86.5NA->T is getting a 1JZ plus R154 from a company I can't remember the name of. . Right now I'm cleaning up the engine bay and prepping the car for the heart transplant. Also I have a full set of nylon bushings and 90's RX-7 rims, but stock springs and shocks.

Thats where I'm at. Thanks for reading,
Mark Bottorff

Welcome to SM, Mark. If you're wondering why your intro is a sentence or two shorter than you remember, it's because I removed your mention of things for sale. We have rules when selling here. Your new, so I'm not going to bust your balls about it. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. I will do my best to help you out. Again, welcome to SupraMania. Read, learn, post, look at booby pics, and have fun here.

nice, welcome to the mania..!

you say you sold an 87, but you only mention an 88 and an 86.5 in your post, so where did the mysterious 87 come from..?

busting your balls, but welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. After I had scavenged all the usable parts from the 88T it went to the junk yard. Then after I cracked the head in the 88T motor in the 86.5NA body I bought the 87NA for $300 plus I had to do buy and replace the clutch on the sellers car (single mom who was borrowing her mom's car to get to work in the mean time). The 87NA came without a front window, a blown head gasket, some body damage and needed to be detailed really bad. I fixed it up and drove that for ~4 years then sold it for $1000. Seems like a good deal to me. I even sold the 88T short block for $100 to some kid wanting to build a big hp supra.

Tomorrow I have a friend coming over with an engine hoist to put the 1JZ on a stand so I can begin replacing seals, belts and stuff prior to the install.
