where can i find a single turbo kit for my supra like the china stuff sumthing that could last me a year without problems under $1000. and i want like 300whp at all times and i will probably buy cams soon for better hp. but if i turn up the boost like 450whp? and a cheap but good boost controller.

If you want 300-350whp just stay with the twins and BPU. If you want 450whp its going to cost you more than $1000 man. You can prob build a single kit for $1800. Thats with a PT61,tail44mm WG,china man manifold,custom oil lines,DP and intake will need to be made.

935 motorsports has the single turbo kits, but their more than a thousand dollars, and don't come with the wastegate.

A lot more than $1k... but damn if that doesnt look like a nice kit on top of whatever turbo you choose. As soon as I actually get my future car and 1jz in coming months, I'll be looking into one of these kits for sure.

Fucking WHY? HK$ is way overpriced. I dont get it, you say you want a 1k single kit then you say your just going to save for the most expensive brand name BS out there.\, when you can get a full kit with everything from turbo to the lines for about 3k??? Stupid idea if you ask me, you can spend your money in better places bro.

Under $1000 is a bit tough there.

Probably the only way to do that is to have a T3 single manifold, a t3/t4 with internal wastegate (maybe if someone gave you a deal on one), and if you welded the downpipe up yourself.

but in ur opinion u dont belive hks is reliable. it can last me a long time and makes a lot of horsepower but im gonna do a complete rebuild. + theres no one in the us with a 1j t51r out there. atleast i think.......:biglaugh: but the point is hks. everyone knows u get wat u pay for. HKS=BEST

Oh, the money I dropped on a complete HKS F-con V-pro setup

It was worth it though. I swear, that computer can do anything. Every time I go into the shop, the tuner pulls out his laptop, and shows me something new that the software can do.
