i took the supra out for a test drive today, and i noticed my oil pressure was offly low... 16psi at idle, then it raises as i get on the gas....

Then i start to hear top end noise, valves or lifters ticking...

Then i hear a winning noise as if my 1JZ was supercharged...

Then after i turn off the engine the winning noise kinda spools down for like ten seconds after the key is out...

Is this noise my turbo??? I know it has quite a bit of shaft play and the turbine doesn't spool at idle, it only spins as i give it gas....

So i looked into the PCV valve and figured that is were the hauling is coming from....
My valve covers are building a lot of pressure and hiss as i open the oil fill cap...

The idle jumps as i pull the PCV valve out, then oil pressure builds back up, with the valve connected the oil pressure drops lower...

What should i do???

Take the PCV valve off and plug the vacuum line then vent the valve covers or what???

Should there be a lot of vacuum in the valve covers??? Like enough for the oil fill cap to be hard to pull from the suction (while engine is at idle)???

What could this be???

Clogged/kinked breather line maybe? That's where the air comes into the crankcase from (other than from blow-by). The PCV line just pulls the air out into the intake manifold and sounds like it's operating normally. Vacuum shouldn't build up though, if the breather line is functioning properly.
