1JZ oil cooler

Hi, I just finished a 1IZ swap a few weeks ago and would like to install an oil cooler for the engine, I have an old one from a 7M-gte with the lines but don't know where to hook it up on the 1J. I am going to get a larger cooler like the flex a lite.

make sure you go with a thermostatically controlled unit.. other than that, this topic has been covered before in various other threads. use the search function for more info./

could you just bolt the 7m oil filter mount onto the 1j?

Bad idea. The stock 7M-GTE oil cooler circuit is seen as a weak link.
