1JZ Mustang Dyno numbers

Ran my 1JZ on the Dyno last night to get it tuned with a Greddy E-Manage Blue
Power Mods Include:
1JZ Swap
Driftmotion Down pip
Driftmotion intake
3inch HKS Exhause
HKS EVC-S Boost Controller

Mustang Dyno read:
247 RWHP
266 TQ
11Lbs of boost.

These numbers are with STOCK twins and STOCK injectors. Power mods are only those listed above.

Pretty close to stock and these numbers are on a MUSTANG DYNO not a DYNOJET.

that's interesting but seems a little low for a stand-alone, wonder if it would of made a big difference with a new intercooler?

That does seem low. I have Drift Motion pullys, Single Plate Clutch, 3'' Intercooler, Y pipe, 3'' exhaust and a Stinger EMS and got 320whp and 310 torque. Stock twins on 14lbs of boost creep. With a piggyback I had before I made 310whp and 305 Torque at 16.5lbs of boost creep.

Mustang dynos read less than dyno jets...

And just to clarify. Re-read the dyno numbers. Hit the numbers only going to 6k rpm and not hitting 7100 redline. Another reason for low numbers. and like hvyman said it was on a mustang.

Your numbers seem low. I went out to a dyno day a few weeks ago and got on a mustange dyno. Made 272hp/300tq with just stock 1jz, 3"y pipe, 3" driftmotion exhaust.

don't seem too bad, Mustang Dyno's definitely read lower..

I dyno'd 308whp on a stock 2jz aristo swap, stock boost, all i had was exhaust, fmic..


my buddies Camaro put down 320 on the same dyno, but a couple months earlier he put down 380whp with the same setup on a Dynojet..

Seems like good numbers to me for just 11lbs of boost. Good job, good luck with the car.
