Finally got the car up and running but the mappers are having problems with it reving past 4500rpm he said it feels like a boost/fuel cut.

the car is an m3 bmw running a 1jzgte engine

mods on the engine

Emanage blue, 3 bar mapsensor and additional injector harness installed

Precision 650cc injectors

Aeromotive FPR

Walbro uprated pump

mocal 16 row oil cooler

air con removed

charcoal canister removed

The engine has a basic wiring loom installed and the 1jzgte engine loom has been used but just the basics wired up to get it running.

Fuel pump runs to its own ignition live from a seperate system

Alternator, oil pressure, warning light wire up

Few things that would help me eliminate ive listed below

Speed sensor wire is not attached, guess thats among the bunch of wires by the starter motor, originally going to the autobox. Some one sudjested the car may think its in top gear at them revs hitting the speed limmit defender??? I assumed the emanage blue would eliminate this.

Just wondering if the map sensor was not being over rode by the 3 bar emanage map sensor (any way of checking this?)

any possible wiring not attached or attached that could cause this symtoms?

Was advised the engine may have an device that wont let it have full power untill it reaches full temp??

I have only just found the wire and got the engine check light wired upto a LED, will perform a self diagnoisis check on the car tomorrow.

Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated< the mapper told me the car was running really well up untill he come to tune it past 4000 rpm

Are you running stock coils? Check for cracks to eliminate that. Coils on JZ are common for cracks. Also make sure your Crank and Cam wires are shielded all the way to your ecu with no splicing.
