ok im putting a 1jzgte in my 1990 mkiii and it had a m7ge 5-speed in it but the 1j im buying has a auto tranny on it and i dont know if i can just take the tranny off and bolt it right up to my tranny. i also dont know what things i have to do to make it fit in there and run. it would be alot of help if anyone could give me info

I think you can use the MK4 N/A bellhousing with your w58, but I would just get an r154 and the 1jz 5spd bellhousing. You will also need a turbo drive shaft if you upgrade to the r154. As far as the wiring goes I believe you just wire it as a 5spd leaving the auto wiring out.
the w58 is crap...it will break . use the r154 ...its not worth the hassle to get another bellhousing just for a bad trans.
im going to try and find a r154 tranny but i havent had any luck so far but im still looking will my drive shaft hold up for awhile because i dont have much money left and i need to get it too where i can drive it because im jobless right now and money doesnt last long
