You say 400 IJ. For all this is worth good old dino seems like it is worth my money
and some of those numbers sound insane , everybody would have a 1j if it made 600 to 800hp stock bottom.

Ian didn't say 400. he was kidding. he meant 4 as a joke. not as in 400 though

the engine CAN take 600hp.

not everyone has one because rumor has it, it doesn't make any torque *yawn*

ha ! ha! so you don't feel a big difference in torque? and you don't think that it will be a big difference when building for big power and you need to run a big turbo?

I've been driving a LOT since yesterday... 2 days of a lot of driving, since my 1JZ swap was completed.... man, the engine feels tourquey as hell if you ask me. The turbos kick in at like 2,000rpm or so (I can only feel them, my boost gauge is on the way, lol). It's very strong.

No disrespect but I like numbers, Like dyno numbers. Right know my friend is in jersey on the dyno with the full built h22 hopefully he will come back with some 500 numbers. I love the dyno:evil2: Very hard on the cars thou.

full boost is under 3k. from there on the car freakin moves. the power is there and the torque is there.
You're on twins though aren't you Joe?

They're designed to give great drivability if you were single it may be different in a fat Mk3 and this is where the 7M's long stroke torque comes into play.

This sucks I am so confused I don't know what I want to do. My heart keeps telling me to build the 7m but my heart will be shattered after I spend all that$$$$$$ and the damm thing lets me down. If some one would say hey build it right 7-800hp no problem but won't nobody say that about the 7m

All depends on the budget Driz.

I'll go on record publicly and repeat what I told you in PM, If I were to do it again I'd go for a 2JZ to keep the capacity and make a bullet proof 700whp.

I only say this because it would be far less costly to do and the aftermarket support and knowledge base for the 2JZ is enormous so ALL of the parts exist off the shelf!

I think you're train of thought is that the 1Js smaller size isn't enough for the Supra if it weren't for the stock twins, but I just don't believe it.
