I finally got a 1jz all it needs is a new crank i will have it shortly. I was wondering if anyone could give me advise on how to get 425rwhp :naughty::evil2: out of it.
So any suggestions?

Fuel pump, Fuel Pressure Regulator, 550cc injectors, single turbo, 3inch exhaust, intercooler, safc or standalone will get you to the 425rwhp mark.

Pretty much you can't get there with stock twins is what I am saying.

Also take a look at the build threads and the dynos to get a good idea what others are running and use that as a good starting point.

I'm curious as to why a fuel pressure regulator is "required" for 425whp.

Make sure you replace the main and rod bearings while you've got it apart. I know you were going to do it anyways, but just wanted to make sure.

As Rob said, you don't have to have the FPR, but if you have the money, I'd get one, because 425rwhp will only be good enough for a couple of months. Trust me.
