I'm looking for a shop or anywhere I can ship my harness to get wired up for my car. If some one knows of a shop. Or can send me a link, I would really appreciate it

Also If someone can give me a link for a jumper harness .. I would really appreciate that..

Thx

search and ye will find the answers

BTW you dont need to extend the harness, look up putting the harness through the firewall.

You make a hole in the firewall and put the harness through. Search for it. As for the harness, I think you can send it to Driftmotion and get it back ready for use but I'm not 100% sure. Again, use the search button.

you can add a hole or just make the speedo hole larger! speedo hole is just inches from where the wires come out the back of your engine open the plastic that bends the harness up or cut it and go streight for the speedo hole leave a little slack for the engine to move.

it reaches the factory ecu mounting point.
then only splicing is the baby jumper harness between the body and efi harness and the alternator wires at the fuse box by the battery (about 20 total easy splices depending on if you have abs and certain other options).

extending the harness adds the above basic extension (20 wires for the jumper harness and alternator wires) + an additional (100 wires 2X you have to splice to add the wire in the middle plus some of them are shielded so you have to do shield splices also(200+splices extending efi system)).

So just sticking the wiring harness through the firewall hole for the speedo and running the harness behind that dash the ecu will reach where it would normaly mount?

Ya It fits... I just did it today! Man it was a P.I.T.A if you ask me!!! Had to take the dash out and move some stuff out the way.

Now I gotta make me a lil jumper harness.

NOPAINT, where in GA are you. I had my swap done in SAV, GA. Call Dr Tweak www.phoenixtuning.com. He can help you.

Or, check out www.1jz-gte.us. Tons of wiring info for 1J swap.
