I've been on the forum for 3 years, and most of the time I lurk around the build-up gallery taking note on what to expect in the event hell froze over and I was able to swap a 1JZ into my car. That time has finally come and by a stroke of dumb, random luck I was able to get a 1JZ from a friend of mine (M_31_07) who picked up a built one. The car its going into is my second Supra (technically third) its a red 1991 Turbo, automatic and its a sunroof model. I've had the car for a very long while, it spends its time in my garage slowly getting consumed by the clutter that seems to regenerate as fast as its removed. Anyway I am open to any questions or comments on this swap since its the first one I'm doing without the aid of a shop, I'm doin it entirely in my garage and I cannot wait to get started. As I start removing various things I'll be posting them in my for sale thread, I really don't need 7M stuff anymore and theres a few JZ parts I still need. So here are the pics:
The Car, the pics are old except for the one of the engine bay. I already started getting it ready to be pulled out.
The engine, I just have these pics of it from the for sale thread but once I pick it up on monday I will take new pics of it on the engine stand and post'em up. BTW the engine came with the FMIC kit and everything in the pic minus the wireharness and some sensors.
The Parts, I got this nice box of parts in the mail on Friday. Heres what was in it.

Insulating 1JZ intake mani gasket
MKIV throttle cable and the Walbro 255lph kit n' pump
Long SS braided power steering line, Oil pressure sender relocator and, full length clutch hose
BIC Swap mounts for a post 89 MKIII, Greddy SLD
Red Samco coolant lines
Delrin bushings from Marlin Crawler for the shifter, Steering angle spacers from Beech performance

Random weirdness
Old freaky HKS dual filter Intake
Old HKS 7M FMIC Kit (Just intercooler shown but I have the whole kit with the 3000 pipe and an old 2 bolt HKS BOV)
BNIB 7M ARPS dont need them anymore lol
The newest pic of the engine with my monster Bullseye mounted haha (Thanks to M_31_07 for letting me use his manifold to mock it up)
I'll be updating this post with the new pics so people don't have to scroll through the whole thread (if it gets that long) to see new pics.
