if you have the transmission, you would know it would bolt straight up with no modification, use 2jz clutch parts. if it is going into a mk3, you will need to open up the tranny tunnel and the rear end ratio is too short for the mkiv trans

There are 2 real options for the gearing, swap in a MKIV rear pumpkin, or go with a 9" setup. Last time I talked to jawsgear, they were not producing any more 3.55 rear end gears for the G series dif.

Well to tell you the truth im Putting the 1JZ into my 92 BMW 325.
I found a 6 spd tranny for a deal. I just want to know what parts i need, to make it work.
Witch flywheel?
Use a 2jz Clutch?
Can I use the 1JZ starter?

and 2JZ V160 Flywheel and clutch setup from stock to Tilton triple will work. depends on what you want to spend.

theres pretty much no difference in the 1J and 2J starter

Hmmm... the V160 isn't cheap by any standard LOL

What's the rear gear ratio in that car?

I have 3 different diffs 3.91, 3.13, and 3.23

SO the flywheel bolt configuration for the 2JZ is the same as the 1JZ?
They dont have different diameters?

Use the 2JZ-GTE v160 clutch & flywheel. The carbon tilton one brand new is about 7k+ what do you expect its not carbon material its pressurized true carbon carbon nearly to the point of synthetic diamond. The starter is the same.
Use the 3.23 Diff its nearly identical & ideal for the V160.
