So I have a driftmotion greddy type s knock off bov in the location of the stock bpv. I have the spring inside all the way soft but can still hear compressor surge through the air filter. Has anyones had this problem? It seems like the stock location is only good for the rear turbo and doesn't really relieve that much pressure on the front turbo. Is this a bad location to have it? I just don't feel like buying piping or an adaptor to put it on the charge pipe. Let me know your input and what I should do. Thanks! - Ryan

I dont think you'll be able to fix it, a design flaw imo.. put the bov on the ic pipes should help
I know it's a dumb question, but is the BOV hooked up properly?
I never ad problems on my 1JZ with my SSQV (real) in stock location, and my stock twins.
....my GT40 was a surge monster though. I ended up taking the spring out of the WG, heating it up, and compressing it to lower the tension.
