If your engine is out of the car, go ahead and get yourself a gasket set and replace all the important seals and gaskets while they are easy to get to.

It would be a shame if your RMS started leaking shortly after dropping the engine in.

stock boost is around 9-10psi or so.

Champion Toyota (on SF) sells a gasek set.

I neglected to change my rear main seal, now it's leaking :(

Oh, it's a lot easier to change the turbos with the motor out, so I suggest throwing a single on it before you put the motor in :)

Driftmotion sells thermostats for like 22 bucks. They sell the front and rear main seals too. They have timing belts, but you can go to a auto parts store and get one. I think it was something like a 88 izuzu trooper 4.6l (I think don't quote me, search the forum).

Timing belt is the same a a 2.6L I4 Isuzu trooper, around 1986 IIRC.

I just suggested you swap out the twins because they will blow eventually, so you might as well upgrade now :) Seriously though, you can run the stock twins if you want.

really just the seal's need changing, front seal, rear main, and possably cam seal's.all the rest of the gasket's in the motor are metal type shim gasket's that don't fail easy.you might want some new valve cover gasket's too.
