Kinda new to the turbo stuff. Going to be doing a 1j swap into my 88 supra 7mge in the near future. Want to know what type of fuel system upgrades i should get. Im thinking of buying 440cc 2jz injectors, 255phl walbro fuel pump, afpr system all from driftmotion.

With my DM 6262 kit, 10psi (wastegate spring) uses 82% duty cycle on 2jz 440cc, stock fuel pressure.
I advise using bigger injectors to benefit from the turbo

What injectors should i get without needing a resistor pack?

Ya get ms3x or ms3pro or a pnp aem. Much better bang for the buck and way more features.

if your going to get a standalone I would get at leas 800cc. would not waste money on 550s. you will reach the limit of them In no time.

Ok, so these mods along with the turbo should be fine with stock bottom 1jz? What is the max boost i can do with out hurting engine.

Oh and since you mentioned that u have 6262 kit from dm, did you have to do any mods to fit it in such as mods to downpipe and whatnot. And what intercooler kit did you get and if it was a direct fit. I was thinking of getting this one from dm http://store.driftmotion.com/static/i-1jzsinglemk3ickit.php

Downpipe was hitting the manifold and wastegate
Turbo compressor elbow was resting against the frame
No dumptube was included
Had to reuse my old manifold studs/bolts
Had to grind/cut a few studs for the turbo
Oil drain AN fitting interefere with one of the compressor clocking bolt
Custom midpipe required (as stated)
and I made my IC piping so I cannot comment on that one.

overall, it's a decent kit but you have to do a bit of DIY adjustment

I just read the description for the kit on dm. Says they modified it to fit directly in to supra just need a midpipe for exhaust. So hopefully i dont have to do many mods. But thanks for the info everybody.

I didn't receive a dump pipe either when I purchased my wastegate..

- Denso 800cc High Impedance injectors. (Fits directly in to the stock fuelrail).
- A standalone ECU.
- 300-400L/Hr fuel pump with custom wiring suited the pump current (stock wiring is to small for big pumps, and will cripple the voltage at the pump terminals).

Then you can have som real funny results... :)

My SP6265 is getting 1000 cc injectors (ID, Injector Dynamics), but I am also using a standalone (HKS Fcon Vpro 3.3). The ID injectors are a bit more expensive, but they have the ability to cycle down so you don't have to worry about overfeeding. I have the Denso MKIV fuel pump in my tank, so I will see if it feeds enough. (no wire modifications)

Mind you.. im running 7M, but still don't expect anything to fit as you think it will. I keep forgetting that installing a modification is just that... a modification. It means adjustments to accommodate.
