1jz auto slippage and PS pump whine

Ok, so we went out for the 1st test drive of the 89T - 1jz conversion. So the car seemed like it needed LOTS of gas to go and it seemed to be slipping... Is the 1j auto any different from the 7m auto? Also how much fluid does the 1j auto need? One time it caught descently and right when the turbos started the rear end swiped out.... Pretty Sweet ...:icon_bigg .... I drive a 7mge so i'm not used to the turbos lol...... The 1j is my friends....

so how do we get the Gauges to work...... tach, speedo, temp, boost.... ??? we plugged them in and tried both 7m and 1j "tach motor" and both didn't work........ So how much fluid does the a342 hold? Also will putting to much fluid in it cause damage? also How do we Adjust all the little Throttle wires... ETC?

You're title mentions something about PS whine? Are you still having this problem? If not, what was wrong with the pumpe, and how did you fix it?

the pump is fine now. Just took time and it doesn't do it anymore. Our main problem is the automatic transmission seems to be acting up with slippage and shifting is slow etc... Also the gauges don't work. I guess there has to be something done to the body plugs... or something, it's not my car so i don't know alot about it.
