negatory.

I believe the spacing of the injectors is different. The fittings are DEFINITELY different. The 2JZ has a FPR that bolts to the top of the manifold, as opposed to the end.

ahh i see, thanks for the info. so if the 2j injectors can drop into a 1j rail, are the harness clips the same?? i know i've seen a thread about the differences, is there a certain year range 2j injector that you need to drop into a 1j, or will any do?

1j = sidefeed
2j = topfeed

no match

2JZ-GTE injectors will drop into the 1JZ rail (2JZ-GTE = 550cc), the injector clips are different, but you can make them fit with slight modifications. You need to wire in some resistors to the injectors as 2JZ are low impedance where the 1JZ expects high impedance.

thanks, i thought that was the case...do you have any more info on wiring in the resistors, i.e. what type and where?

thanks for the help

Any high wattage ~10ohm resistors work. The best place to get them would be a 7M resistor pack. You wire them in series with the black wires on the injectors. The black wires are 12V from the battery.
