hey guys thinking about doing a 1jz swap i wanted to know if a mk3 transmission could bolt up to a 1jz i heard you need the housing from the 1jz trans if i put the 1jz with the transmission would any drivetrain parts need to be changed /modified. also can anyone tell me how much stronger the 1jz is than the 7m i heard they are pratically bulletproof dont get me wrong i love the 7m but money is kinda tight and i want the more power for the less buck.thanks alot guy for all the help

the 1jz swap is by no means cheap, there are some 2jz parts you need in addition to alot of wiring. the drivetrain can stay the same.
i wouldnt push a 7m past 400WHP on non forged and i believe the theoretical limit of the 1j is somewhere around 600.
