1JZ 2JZ Alternator Conversion Harness

This harness allows:

Use 1JZ Alternator with round plug on JDM, USDM (?) 2JZ, etc engines with oval alternator plug.

Use higher amp Aristo 2JZ alternator on OE 1JZ harness.

Wire JDM 2JZ alternator to USDM round plug mA70 alternator harness

Etc, Etc.....

Without soldering, electrical diagrams, risk of screwing up, fire etc!

This isn't really an F/S ad but:
$62 shipped anywhere in N. America if anybody needs one I can get it from work.

It's a bit pricy, but just like a turbo timer or CD player harness, the hassle free part of it is worth the $$$$

I got lucky.. my aristo (92 engine) cam with a round plug so my 1jz harness worked without issue

Note: Soarer 1JZ's are round plug. You can basically use any USDM JZ series alternator from 1992 to 2000.

IS300 alt's work quite nice.

What are the specifications of the 1JZ and 2JZ alternators? I have a 2JZ alt sitting in my garage I've been thinking of putting on my car.

My parts computer says:

MA70= 70A
SC300 = 100A
GS300 = 90A
JZA80 = 90A 6 spd, 100A A/T

Not sure on the 1JZGTE.

All I know is that with the pulley I put on it, mine (JDM 2JZ) puts out 109 Amps on out test bench, which will be more than ample, and paired with new cables, and a Optima, will be much better suited to running extra lights, 2 fuel pumps, 2 electric fans and an electric water pump.

What does the IS300 put out A wise? I slapped a 1JZ Soarer A/T alt on my buddies IS and now i'm just curious.
